Salsa-Cause we Like it HOT

Ingredients

  • 1 28 oz can of stewed Tomatoes I like the Hunts brand!
  • 1-4 Serrano Chilis I prefer the spiciness of these over jalapenos
  • 1 medium White Onion
  • 1 Cilantro bunch
  • 1-2 Lemons

Directions

Chop the onion, serano and cilantro. In a blender Combine All Ingredients (minus the lemons) and blend to desired consistency (I would use the pulse setting this way you don’t blend it into a puree. Side note here…the more serrano chili’s the HOTTER the salsa. I suggest starting with two and if you need it hotter add another. Next, pour your hot salsa into a nice bowl or container, squeeze lemon and add garlic salt to taste. I like to leave some onion, cliantro, and serrano chopped and add after blended.

Enjoy and remember salsa is not just for chips, enjoy over eggs, chicken and whatever else needs some spicing up!!
