- 1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 Scoops Protein Powder I use Vanilla-but if you love chocolate-give it a try!
- 2 Egg whites
- 1 Cup Fat Free Milk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp Cinnammon
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil I don't use this-but it will make the consistency of the pancake mix easier to stir-and make the pancake a lil more moist
There are a MILLION protein pancake recipes out there. This is just one of many-and at least this protein pancake looks like an actual pancake and not some oatmeal scramble.
Mix all dry ingedients together first then add in the milk, egg whites, and oil (the oil is optional-I don’t use this). Then cook like a regular pancake-word to the wise-cook on low fire and after the first flip take a fork and poke some holes on the top-otherwise-you may have an undercooked pancake in the center.
Normally-I top mine with fresh blueberries-but my daughter ate them all last night (I shall punish her later-HAHA)
Oh and I also top with sugar free syrup.
ENJOY your- looks like a real pancake but isn’t a real pancake -for breakfast-lunch or as I just did-midafternoon snack!
